Despite Ashlee Simpson's notorious snafu on Saturday Night Live last season (wherein it was made clear that she was apparently under the impression she was performing on a show called Saturday Night Pre-recorded Vocal Track That Still Sounds Really Shitty-- No Seriously, If It Sounds This Bad with the Studio Polish, Why the Fuck Is This Bitch Famous?), Simpson and SNL producers are in talks to have her return to the show. This time, she would also host, increasing the suck-factor of SNL beyond any of our wildest dreams. And you thought the Colin Quinn years were bad. At this rate, they ought to change the name of the show from Saturday Night Live to "Saturday Night Lousy"! Right? Are we right?
